SaiKiran, son of singer Ramakrishna, is a very humble person. He is gentle in attitude and a bit shy too.
Saikiran entered film industry through Nuvve Kaavali in 2000. His new movie "Utsaaham" is ready for release.

Background

Bachelors in hotel management. Currently pursuing Master of marketing management.
First movie is NuvveKaavali in 2000.



What influenced you to join the movie industry.

Family background. I was brought up in Chennai at my grandmother's.
Grand Mother (Suseela) and Father are also singers.
So attended lot of film related functions. I was in touch with the industry from my childhood.




Why did u chose to be an actor? You could be a singer.

Every one asks me this question. In my childhood, I happened to see NTR garu on the sets of Pothuluri Veerabrahmendra
Swamy Charitra. On another occassion, I visited Rajani Kanth on the sets. I got inspired from the treatment they get
on the sets and their performances. Acting has been my dream since childhood.



Hobbies

I have so many but simple hobbies. I love dogs. I have fish. As a matter of fact,
I have a big pond with fishes. I also have
tortoise, Parrot. I spend lot of money on animals.
Other than animals, I spend my free time on video games and gardening. I have a garden which I made it by myself.




How did u feel about getting nandi for preminchu

Actually getting a chance to work with Suresh productions is a big deal. Over that if the movie is a hit, you are lucky.
Added to that if you get an award, I have no words to explain the feeling. I am very thrilled. I was projected
as a full fledged hero on Suresh Productions banner.



Upcoming movies

Orey Nuvvu Naaku Nachavuraa. Its a comedy film. And Tamil - Enna Sollu Poogithay. Directed by Rathna Kumar. He worked
with Bharathi Raja as a writer. Utsaaham is ready to release. Sanna Jaaji is almost completed. I am commited to a movie with
Ushakiran.



Will you be producing any movies.

Production is a very big deal. Its an every-second-tension job. All producers are really great.
If you relax a bit or not in good terms with an artist or costume designer,
you will lose every thing. I cannot bear such tension. So i will never step into production.


Brothers or Sisters

I have a sister, Lekha.



Do you practice

Yes. I do Mirror Practice, Dance practising and also watch lot of movies.




Who are your favorite heros

Rajani Kanth, NTR.




Favorite Actress

Soundarya. I will be very happy if I get a chance to do a film with her.



Tell us about Ushakiran's Movie

Its a kannada movie. Shooting will start in Feb or March of next year. Ushakiran is actually encouraging
me alot. They gave me the first chance in Siva Leelalu, a TV serial. Then Nuvvu Kaavali, Manasunte Chaalu.



Are you open to doing TV serials too

No. I did siva leelalu because i got the role of MahaVishnu and you know our sentiments. So I did that role.




What roles and movies would you prefer or like to do.

I like to work for movies like Dil Se or Bombay.. Some thing intense. I got fed up with "I Love you"s.
Naa love ni friendship anukunnanava... Naa friend ship ni love anukunnava movies kaakunda.. a movie with good tempo.
A change is badly needed.




Which character is the one you liked the best.

Manasunte Chalu. Its like Venkatesh role in Chanti. I took lot of pains for the movie. I
gave my best to Manasunte Chaalu.



Your involvement in the film.

I will try to know the character & its behavior. I will try to analyze the role. Its very necessary for any artist to maintain good
relation with the director to give out a good product. Otherwise in that cold war, the movie will shape up very badly.
I never suggest to the directors. I let them do their job. They have a flow and i dont want to interrupt them. And also
i am not matured enough to get involved in the direction or production




Do u suggest heroines for the movie

You can suggest any other character like second hero or villian but not heroine. Thats a danger point. (laughing).




Any love tracks.

Actually I dont believe in love. Its a waste of time. There is no love now a days. We are seeing the ghost of love and
thinking that it is love. Now its all money. People are looking for money.
After love they get married. Then quarrels. Its the same in
arranged and love marriages. So what is the difference. The last formality that any parent can perform to their children
is getting them married. I just dont want to take away the chance from them.
