Megastar Chiranjeevi is all set to make an official annoucement at 2:30 PM. A note is sent to all the press about the same. However, fans are advised not to flock the announcement. Instead, they are advised to celebrate it at their respective places and attend the public meeting being held at 26th August in Tirupati. The announcement today is only to make an official announcement.

The entire state is geared up to celebrate soon after the announcement.

Chiru's wife is in Mantralayam today visiting Raghavendra Swami's temple.

Arrangements are done state wide by the fans to celebrate the announcement of the party. Huge cutouts and stages in public grounds are already done in most of the areas.

One analysis on Chiranjeevi's numerology at this point is that 8 is a favorable number. That is being attributed to his announcement on 17th and then public meeting on 26th and this is the 8th month of the year.

Some of the political leaders might make their migration to Chiranjeevi's party official today. Harirama Jogayya might make it official today.

Meeting might be kept short and might be wrapped up in 10-15 minutes

Fans flocked the party office in Hyderabad. Security is all in place to control the crowds. The place is filled with media persons.

He is the only one addressing the media. Media asked for a photo session and he is up for it. Pictures of Gandhi and Mother Theresa are on the background. Photographers are asking for more pictures. He is wearing semi-white colored shirt and black pant.

Starts his speech.

He thanks the press and the audience watching through the TV. He continues, 'A while ago my fans reacted positively to all the speculations. I requested my fans to be patient until my official announcemt. I am going to make it official today. This is a memorable day. 30 years of film path is now taking a different path. My ambition of doing full time social service and my fans wishes are converging today. I am today announcing from my heart that my life is dedicated to social service from today on.

I feel that this is my destiny. Not many people get this opportunity. Fans have been requesting me to do it for a while. I am taking up this responsibility now. I met with several prominent people in the last few months. They have advised me which became a good input for me. I should name one person today in that context. I met with APJ Kalam recently. Our discussion went on for long time. that will be a different topic to discuss. One incident that I want to narrate is he told me that he met with a few group of youth and he asked them about how many of them wanted to become doctors, engineers, astronauts etc.. But when he asked how many people wanted to come into politics, there were only 3 hands. He is very disappointed at that. that is what he told me. Youth is not interested in that because that field is being run by corrupt people. Very capable people are not coming into politics and that is why the country in this stage.
People are looking at you beyond an actor and you should come to guide them, said Kalam.

I felt that it would be an historical mistake to not realize how essential is it to come into politics. he really inspired me a lot. I thank him for htat.


I also bless my head to NTR who got a recognition to the state, Telugu and the film industry.

I also thank the youth and women who have been organizing rallies. I have been invited by industrialists, farmers, fisherman, NRIs and several people. NRIs are providing unconditional support because they believe tht Chiranjeevi can change the future of the state. I thank all of them in their support.

Dr Ambedkar, Gandhi, Mother Theresa are my inspiration, says Chiranjeevi.

There are two incidents that I should narrate here.
One home guard from Khammam wrote that he is ending his life and he felt bad that he is not living to see Chiru in political stature. Also recently one couple in Hyderabad said that if they are disasppointed about anything before taking their lives is that they are nto able to vote for me. even during suicide, they could think about me and they are looking to see me in good position, that filled me up emotionally and provided more boost.

When people come to me and thank me for blood bank services, I feel more happy than people wishing me for the success of Indra, tagore etc. So I felt that I should take it up full time.

I am for the people, by the people and to the people. Dedicated for them.

I am going to do a neew role from today on. there is no scope for acting here. I have to live here in this new role. 'naa kosam bathikedhi bathudu.. pakkavari kosam bathikedhi jeevitam;

Answers to media questions:
You all know me for the last thirty years. But most of you dont know before that. I come from a very average family. I even worked in farms. So I know the problems they go through.

I dont agree that politics in the state are polluted but there is always betterment of life. Every party is doing good their own away.

There are several sensitive issues. They will the technically analysed and root cause analysis will be done to solve them.

If the person is good and capable of doing social service and is selfish, any one be it from family or friends, they can come into politics, as long as they are accepted by the public.

There is no rivalry to me in politics. If there is any rivalry I see, they are backwardness int eh state, corruption, social injustice etc.

Main agenda will be the betterment of life.

People are my gurus.

My aim is not a position or political stature but solving issues. To solve the issues, I really dont need to be in a position. it is not the position but the medium that is important. People know very well. They will put us in the right position.

I am not able to digest when people sya I am saying good bye to the industry. I would just say that I am shifting but not ignoring my mother. If I get sensible topics, I might do a film but my main focus is the politics. I dont want to travel on two boats.

I am seeing so much of response because I feel that might be political vaccum. I am not sure if it is vaccum but probably people are looking for a change. 30 years ago, if I thought that there are already top heroes, I would have never entered the industry. When people saw me, they liked the change and hence encouraged me. I might see the same here.

About support from film industry;
i am very confident that the entire film industry will support me in my goal towards social service.

Every one has their own right to pick their choice of party in the democratic country.

I am not thinking about number of seats. I am going into the people to work for them. It is up to the people to decide how many seats they want to give me and where they want to put me at.

Party will have both experience and youth.

Question: What is the need for a new parth when there are already two big parties
The two parties did a great service to the society. We might not be able to do new agenda but the execution will be different. We will stand through the execution to see the result.

it is too early to comment on national level party.

Question:Dont you think you will become Kondarivadu from Andarivadu after you enter politics
I dont think so. Remember the dialog from Tagore when Prakashraj says we are sentimental fools and they remember forever. I am sure I will stand andarivadu forever.

Question: You are sensitive
That is why i will be able to understand the problems well. That sensitiveness is what might be lacking in the political leader. I am feeling that sensitiveness as a big asset.

There is no decision yet on where will I contest from. First let me go into the people. Talk to them and based on the feedback, i will decide.

question: You are enering politics to cleanse the politics. Why are you letting tainted people into the party from other parties?
Good people and experienced leaders who liked my agenda can always come in.

there is no point on reacting to them. This is a country with freedom of speech.

Is this a one man show
No. It is a united effort.

Chiranjeevi assures that he will meet again with the media but requests them to be quiet so that he can thank the media.

What do you know about politics? Why are you entering into it?
I dont know politics. Same way, I dont know medicene or how many cells does a blood drop contain. But I did service through the blood bank. So even though I dont know politics, I am sure I can do service to those who are being deprived of basic services.
