Happy Days made a good sweep at 55th Annual Filmfare Awards (South) by bagging 6 Awards in total. Best Film, Best Director, Best Music Director (Miceky J Meyer), Best supporting actress (Sonia), Best Lyricist (Vanamali Arrey...Manase Jare), Best Playback singer (Karthik for Arey..Manasey Jare) are the awards bagged by Happy Days unit. Sekhar Kammula got 2 as producer and director. Best Female playback singer went to Sadana Sargam for the chartbuster Manasaaa nuvvunde chote from Munna film. Ramcharan Teja (Chiruta) and Hansika (desamuduru) got the awards for best debut. Lifetime achievement award was given away to Jayaprada.

All the hard work with shedding of weight and performance paid off for NTR as he bagged his first Filmfare award. He is the best actor for Yamadonga. Trisha got the best actress for AMAV. Best supporting actor went to Jagapati babu for Lakshyam.
