Dhil Raju's Kotha Bangaru Lokam starring Varun Sandesh (Happy Days fame) is all set to hit the theaters on 9th October on the eve of Dasara. Dhil Raju's banner Sri Venkateswara Creations banner delivered a blockbuster for 2006 Dasara in the form of Bommarillu. Even though Dhil Raju did not produce the film Happy Days, he distributed the film which also released around Dasara in 2007. The unit is pretty confident that Dhil Raju will repeat his magic this Dasara too.

In fact, KBL started in January of this film. The film was to release some time ago but got delayed. Cinematographer Chota K Naidu commented on the same thing. He said, 'Dhil Raju said he will complete the film in 40 days. As happened with all his previous films, this film also got delayed. But now I have the first hand experience on the delay factor. Dhil Raju is a perfectionist. He will not compromise even on a minute thing. He strives for quality. I really appreciate that factor in him', said Chota K. Naidu.

Dhil Raju said one of the reasons for the delay is the dates of Prakashraj. 'It usually takes more time when making film with new comers. And also, we wanted only Prakashraj to do the father role in the film. We waited for his dates. Even though I got suggestions to move on, I did not. After looking at the rushes, now I am happy that every one in the unit understands my stand. I even heard that there is no KBL if there is no Prakashraj. I am happy to hear that which proves my point', said Dhil raju.
