Mallepuvvu starring Bhumika and Muralikrishna in the lead is all set to hit the screens on 19th Sept. Censor gave it a clean U certificate. Samdura directed this film while Ramesh Varma provided the story. Maestro Ilayaraja gave music. The unit was in high appreciation of the line of the film. After hearing the story, Ilayaraja reportedly wanted the Tamil remake rights while Bhumika was keen on doing it in Hindi. And also, the makers are going gaga about the performance of Bhumika in the film that they are sure she will be a top contender in the national awards list. Bhumika also did put on make up as a guy in the film, as the story demanded.

Mallepuvvu is releasing in USA through Tolly2Holly. The film is releasing on 18th itself in USA and screening will start in India from the morning on 19th.
