'Politics is always alluring.. but only from outside. You will realize the true colors only when you enter in', said Tamil star Sarat Kumar. Sarat Kumar is also into politics in Tamilnadu and this is how he responded for a query on his take on Chiranjeevi coming into politics.
Sarat Kumar was in Hyderabad recently to promote his film titled 1977, a bi-lingual one. Even though he talked about his 11 years of political career, he said 1977 is not at all about politics. 'It is not about politics for sure. However, you will see the flag (party symbol) in one song', said Sarat Kumar. Talking about Chiranjeevi, he said, 'Chiranjeevi is a noble man. He is not only a great actor but a great social worker too. His Bloodbank work is commendable. His entry into politics would do good to the state', said Sarat Kumar.
When questioned on why most of the actors now are plunging into politics, he said, 'Most of them will have to come. Now a days, it is the educated folks who are coming in. Government should have representation from various segments to be able to tackle all kinds of issues. In Tamilnadu, Vijay Kanth is already in. Karthik is planning to take the plunge. In Andhra, I heard Balakrishna is also gearing up. So there is a need for the educated and good people to come in'.
