Responding to the challenge by Jana Vignana Vedika, Jagapati Babu commented that Raksha did not support the theory or existence of Blackmagic. 'Those who are commenting on the film should first watch it and then challenge'. Jana Vignana Vedika recently criticized the film Raksha, a horror flick focused mostly on the black magic, claiming that such films will cause more harm to the society. And the association challenged Ramgopal Varma or anyone to prove the existence of such evil practises. JVV also announced 10 Lakhs for anyone who can prove the black magic.
Jagapati Babu said, 'Raksha is a horror flick. It does not endorse the existence of it. The film is about human relations and emotions. Raksha released after the release of Phoonk. We were taken by surprise on the kind of collections coming in'.
Executive producer Subbaraju said, 'There is an eternal power which is outside the human understanding. And no evil power can stand in front of that. What if there is an evil power that can come head on head with this eternal power is the point of the film. Nothing more should be interpreted'.
