16 June Aparchithudu gearing up to release! Movie stills, Wallpapers, 'Gentleman' Shankar's Aparichitudu starring Vikram and Sada is gearing up to release on 17th of June in both Andhra and Tamilnadu. The film, reportedly made on a whopping budget of about 25 crores registering the film as one of the costliest south Indian movie made, is opening with high expectations. In Telugu, the film is releasing with about 150 prints. Worldwide the film will release with 404 prints. High expectations are due to the crazy combination of Shankar and Vikram. Harris Jayaraj composed music for this film. The film secured a clean U certificate from the censor and also, as media sources reported, preview was shown yesterday and the report is very promising. Vikram comes in different getups in this film. Shankar wanted the film to release on 17th for sentimental reasons. His Indian released on June 17th few years ago. Vikram is captivating the audience with his mindblowing performances in variety roles starting from Sethu (Telugu Seshu). Then followed Kasi (Telugu Srinu Vasanth Laxmi), Dhil (Telugu Sriram), Gemini (Telugu Gemini), Samurai (dubbed Samurai), Pitamagan (dubbed Sivaputrudu). Now it is Aparichitudu (Anniyan). The tag line of the film itself is very different. It reads "He who comes from hell is not afraid of hot ashes". In this film Vikram is playing Ramanujam, a lawyer by profession. As told by the director, this lawyer will start a process to change the attitude of the society which is in deep slumber. Prakashraj is doing a key role, who also appears in variety getups. Sada is the heroine playing the role of Nandini. Dil Raju: SriSri dropped? Movie with Allu Arjun? As reported by TotalTollywood earlier, Dil Raju's SriSri was planned to start on July 9th. Sukumar was supposed to direct this film and a young hero was supposed to do it. Though the makers never announced, the buzz was that Mahesh will do that film. Things seem to have changed now. The producer has confirmed to some media sources that SriSri is dropped. It seems that the title is dropped and the hero changed but the project will takeoff on July 9th. Sukumar will handle the megaphone for Dil Raju. Buzz is that Allu Arjun might do this film for Dil Raju. If so, then the Arya combination is coming back again! 27 days, 160 cameras for a fight in Athadu Trivikram Srinivas is directing Mahesh and Trisha for Jayabheri Productions Athadu. The film was maintained on very low profile until recently. Recently a song was pictured on Mahesh and Trisha in Calcutta and Darjeeling. The producer is all in praise for the director. "The story has such a grip that I was spellbound when I heard the story. I was all excited. We felt right at that time that Mahesh will be apt for this role. This character will prove an allrounder in Mahesh yet again. Mahesh's character is modern, rugged and stylish. He also appears in village backdrop. He speaks less since his actions speak for himself in the film. To see the speciality of his character, just wait for the film", says excited Kishore. Jayabheri Kishore produced several superhit and critically acclaimed films in the past such as Varalabbai, Pichi Pantulu, O Tandri Theerpu, Mugguru Mitrulu, Rajeswari Kalyan, Nirnayam, Varasudu, Avida Maa Avidey and others. "Technically the film has come out brilliant", adds the producer. "For one particular action sequence, we got 160 cameras from London. Peter Hayne choreographed this action sequence. The fight was done in a church backdrop for 27 days. To bring out best effect in action sequences, 500 frames still cameras are used. You will notice the extraordinary effect when seen on screen. It will be on par with Hollywood action film sequences", added the producer. Trisha is playing a village girl, who will appear very traditional. Thota Tharani designed some spell binding sets for this film. There is a house set erected for this film. Though it was not initially thought out, Trivikram Srinivas had a visualization of the house and hence the makers had to go with erecting such house. Manisharma composed music for this film. Jayabheri Kishore feels that all 6 songs came out excellent and will have different backdrop attached to them. Audio of the film will release in June itself and film will release in July. At present the unit is filming a song in Darjeeling. The production will be complete with that song. The film also has a heavy casting of Prakashraj, Sonu Sood, Kota, Dharmavarapu, Giribabu, Nazar, Brahmanandam, Sunil, Charanraj, Shiyaji Sindhe, Rahul Dev, Thanikella Bharani, Brahmaji. Gunasekhar to direct Vikram Media sources say that Vikram is all set to do his straight Telugu film after quite some gap. In this gap, he went on to become a superstar in Tamil. Audio of the film will release after 20th of this month. 12 June Srihari's film titled Okkade Geeta Art pictures banner with Srihari in the lead is titled "Okkade...officer on duty". Chandra Mahesh is directing this film. In a recent pressmeet that was conducted, G. Adiseshagiri Rao unvealed the Okkade logo. Santoshi of Jai fame is the heroine in this film. As planned, Megastar Chiranjeevi's Andarivadu should have been in the theaters by now. But unfortunately that is not happened yet. Producer Allu Aravind attributed the delay to the Graphics work that is pending. This postponement in the last minute has irked the fans. Chiranjeevi's film demand such a craze that the tickets are sold in advance for weeks together. Because of this postponement some of the theaters are returning the money for advance tickets. Few theaters are making the tickets valid from the day of the release. Sources say that producer Allu Aravind, known as one of the producers with good planning, is planning on sueing the graphics company because of which the prints got delayed. Allu Aravind said, "It is necessary that the graphics firm realize the necessity of being in sync with the production planning. I am discussing with our lawyers to make the firm realize this issue legally". Brighter side of it is the prints are all ready and are shipped to the respective destinations. The film will definitely open in India on 4th June. 1 June Andarivadu moved to 4th June? As per reliable sources, Andarivadu release is moved to 4th June due to some last minute fixes. Technical reason is quoted as the reason for the postponement of the film by a day. Narasimhudu was to release on friday. Due to financial constraints, the producer couldnot pay the financiers on time. Hence the release is delayed by a day except in Hyderabad. The shocking event is the attempt of the producer Chengala Venkata Rao to commit suicide by jumping into Hussain Sagar. Though the reason is not definitely identified to be in relation with the film, sources feel that is the case. Earlier Venkat Rao produced Samarasimha Reddy, which was a blockbuster. With that spirit Venkat Rao started Narasimhudu. It is learnt that he spent lot of money on this film. The budget went out of proportion. It is learnt that the producer took almost 14 crores in loan to make this film. One producer remarked that Venkatrao spent the money lavishly on the film. Another producer who got involved in resolving the conflict commented that one of the mistake that Venkat Rao did is to keep the distribution to himself and not doing the buisness at the right time. NTR gave up his remuneration and instead paid about 3 crores from his pocket to secure the release of the film. B.Gopal and D.Suresh Babu also helped with some amount that made the film release happen. Finally Narasimhudu releases in Utharandhra Narasimhudu gallery After dramatic turn of events NTR starrer Narasimhudu finally made it to the theaters in Vizag. Though the prints were released to Vizag on saturday itself, financiers didnot let the prints go out. They demanded the payment of 70 Lakhs from the producer for the prints to release. It is learnt that the producer got about 1.23 crores on loan from the financiers. Exhibitors were in dialemma. However, the exhibitors and financiers came to a compromise on sunday. The film finally hit the theaters in Vizag from the second show on Sunday. The film was originally slated to release on friday. Due to financial crisis, the film only made it in Hyd on friday. Rest of the Andhra was to screen the film from Saturday. In Vizag the screening started only on Sunday. Narasimhudu producer attempts suicide 1:00 PM - Chengala Venkat Rao announces that he is resigning to his MLA post. 12:00 Noon: Chengala Venkat Rao, producer of Narasimhudu, attempted suicide by jumping into Hussain Sagar. As per the sources, while he was passing the Tankbund area, around 10:30 AM today morning, he stopped the car and then took a plunge into the Hussain Sagar. Lakeview police who are around there saved him and admitted him into the KIMS hospital. His condition is stable now. Chengala Venkat Rao earlier produced blockbuster film Samarasimha Reddy with Balakrishna. Then he recently produced Narasimhudu with NTR. The film had a tough time releasing. The film is slated to release on 20th of May. Due to financial crisis that arised, the producer is believed to have released the film on deficit. Distributors and fans protested against the producer at the producer's house and also the labs. The film finally got released into twin cities only for the evening shows and released in the rest of the Andhra on 21st morning. The film, after the release, failed to gather a positive talk. The producer's brother who is at the hospital said that it is the family problems and nothing else that caused his brother to take this extreme step. Infact, the film didnot release in Vizag yet as of 22nd morning. The sources maintained that a noted director might direct Mahesh and Surendra Reddy (Atanokkade fame) might direct Nagarjuna. There is no official confirmation on these, however. On the other hand, it is heard that Surendra is getting offers left and right from big banners. It is also learnt that big heroes are willing to do films with him. However, his next film will be for KLN Raju with a young hero in the lead. Narasimhudu release in trouble! Narasimhudu gallery NTR's Narasimhudu is in trouble. The film is slated to release on 20th of May on the eve of NTR's birthday. However, the problem started yesterday, a day before the release, due to financial crisis. The expenditure crossed the budget planned for this film. Also, the producer preferred to keep some of the areas to himself instead of giving them out for business. Hence the last minute cruch and the prints are not released as of 10 AM today morning. Though reports state that NTR intervened yesterday night and made some kind of settlement, the deal didnot reach the concerned parties yet. Also, the pressure from the financiers is also quoted as one of the reasons for the prints not being released. Fans of NTR will be disappointed across the state since the film will not release on his birthday. Even if the film releases today, it will hit the theaters only in Hyderabad and surrounding areas. A poster which released recently carried the message "100 days in 202 centers". For starters, the film is yet to release. The makers already announcing the number of 100 days centers is getting a mixed response. Fans are excited that this film will surely cross the earlier records in the Telugu industry. The unit wrapped up the production part today. The last song, which comes as fifth song in the film, was shot in the pub. The shooting of the film started in the December of last year. Producer Chanti Addala spoke on this occassion and said that they took long time to complete the film. About 158 callsheets were used. Movie Gallery As per one media report, which did a survey on the range of Rajanikanth's recent hit Chandramukhi, Chandramukhi might be the biggest hit in South Indian Films todate. Chandramukhi, which released for Tamil Newyear, opened up decently at the boxoffice. But no one predicted that the range would be so big. The film is a superhit in Tamil and Telugu.
