Gita Arts film with Chiru launched
Megastar Chiranjeevi is all set to do a duel role film for Gita Arts production. The film is officially launched today.
The event took place at Annapoorna Studios at 9:00 AM. The function is graced with many notable figures from Tollywood.
Venkatesh gave the first clap on Chiranjeevi and Nagarjuna switched on the camera. Pawan Kalyan supervised the first shot
direction, while Srinu Vaitla directed the first shot. "Namminadhi Chesthanu.. Nammaka chesthanu.. aa nammakame naku balamu,
dhyvam", is the first dialogue uttered by Chiru for this film. In a preess meet that was organized after the muhurtham shot,
Megastar gave out 15000/- cheque to the fans who helped in nabbing the piracy cds of Shankar Dada MBBS. Chiru spoke about
the necessity to eradicate the piracy. He also announced that there is a special cell number allocated for this piracy information
in the chamber. Shyamprasad Reddy is incharge of that wing. Chiranjeevi also announced 15000 Rs to anyone who would come forward
with information and FIR on pirated cds.
During the pressmeet, Chiru passed on the microphone to Allu Aravind saying that Allu Aravind is the best person to talk the
first words about the film. However, Allu Aravind passed it back to Chiru and Chiru commented on the film saying that this film
is about a father, who is mass and a son, who is class. He also commented that "this is not a routine story. Infact it is quite opposite
of what I said before. I felt very thrilled listening to the line itself. The father character, which happens to be mass,
is tailor-made for me. I saw Venky and also heard about Srinu. I am confident that he has got the guts to direct a full-fledged
mass comedy. "
Chiru added, "There will not be much age gap between the characters. It would be as if father had the kids at 17.".
Kabir Lal, who handled camera for films such as Taal, will handle the camera. Devisri is composing the music. The press was
all excited and posed questions such as if there is a song on both the characters. Chiru smiled and said yes. Srinu Vaitla was
all in praise for Chiranjeevi. "From now on if anyone asks me about what I achieved in life, I would proudly say that I directed
Chiranjeevi for a film", said Srinu Vaitla. He also appreciated Chiranjeevi's involvment saying if Chiru took to direction
he would be a mega director.
Towards the end of the function, the fans started giving slogans "Chiranjeevi Zindabad.. shankardada Zindabad". Chiru commented
in his own style "athan sudden gaa antha gattiga aravakandayya babooo naakasalee bhayam". (Dont give out sudden high pitch
noise, I get scared). For which, Allu Aravind retorted to Chiranjeevi, "Who are you to stop us (fans). It is our will and wish.", and saying
that he started Shankar Dada hu ha hu ha..
This event which went in a celebrating atmosphere is also attended by Aswini Dutt, Chanti Addala, Allu Arjun, Pawan Kalyan,

Posani Krishnamurali's Sravana masam.. pellialla season
Story and dialogue writer Posani Krishnamurali turned director and producer. On the name of his sons Ujwal and Prajwal,
Posani established the banner UP Cinema Lines on which this film will be produced. The film is titled as
Sravana Masam..Pellilla season. The film started in Annapoorna studios and the function is conducted in big scale amidst
many celebrities. Chandrababu Naidu inaugurated the banner. Megastar Chiranjeevi gave the first clap and Smt. Vijaya Nirmala
switched on the camera. Raghavendra Rao directed the first shot. First shot was directed on Harikrishna, Krishna and Karthikeya
(debut hero). The first shot is filmed as a song. Venigalla Rambabu penned the lyrics for this song.
This film casts about 60 actors including Harikrishna, Krishna, Karthikeya, Suhasini (Chantigadu fame), Jyothi, Keerthi
Chawla, Kondavalasa, Babumohan, Jayalalitha, Dharmavarapu and others. Vandemataram Srinivas is roped in to compose 9 tunes
for this film. Talking on this oocassion Posani commented that many of his well wishers questioned him about the length of
the film with 60 actors. But he is determined in doing what he wanted to.
There was a 100 feet height and 24 feet width vinyl cutout that attracted the attendees. Posani commented on the poster that
it is a mark to prove their 100% determination towards the 24 crafts of the films

Bhagavan.. Magadantey veederaa - film started today in Film City. R.V.Reddy and S.S.Reddy are producing this
film together on Raghava production banner. H.Vasu is directing this film. K.S.Ramarao, Shyam Prasad Reddy and
others participated in the pooja function. H.Vasu directed about 12 films in Kannada. This is his first Telugu film.
This film is directed by H.Vasu himself in Kannada also. The film is successfully running towards 100 days.

already started and is going on in Rajamundry. Sabhapathi is directing this film. This is the first film that Kalyani is acting

• Suryodaya Arts Sakhiya Naato Raa is done with talkie part. Tarun and Nauhidh play the main lead. Audio released

• Swarbhishekam unit is filming for the last song in Ramoji Film City. Sirivennala penned this song - Nee Chentha

Chellame in Telugu as Prema Chadarangam
Debut hero Vishal and Reemasen starrer Tamil hit film Chellame is getting dubbed into Telugu as Prema
Chadarangam. Vishal is the son of producer G.K.Reddy, who earlier produced films like Lawyer Bharathi Devi,
S.P.Parasuram and others. Hero Vishal confidently expressed his opinion that the film will become a bigger hit
in Telugu. Gandhi Krishna directed this film. Devisri Prasad, Chakri and Keeravani are roped in to sing the songs
for the Telugu version. Harris Jayaraj composed music. The makers are planning to release the film on 19th of November.
Another film with Vishal will start on 15th January. This is a Tamil film and will be directed by Lingaswamy.

Prabhas, M.S.Raju film titled Pournami
It is already known that M.S.Raju will be launching another film with Prabhas shortly. Silver Jubilee function for their previous film wil happen on 1st of NOvember. According to the sources, the next film with Prabhas on Sumanth arts
is titled Pournami. More details are expected to come out shortly. M.S.Raju is creating waves at the box office for
every Sankranthi. It started with Manasantha Nuvve, then Okkadu and Varsham. 2005 Sankranthi will see Sumanth Arts
Nuvvosthanante Nenodhantaana with Sidhartha and Trisha in the lead and Prabhudeva as the director. Probably Pournami
is for 2006 Sankranthi.

Shankardada shaking the records
Megastar's Shankardada is rewriting the records at the box office. The film, which is the remake of Hindi Munnabhai, is
doing extremely well running across the world. India, US, UK, Germany and other locations are reporting record collections. In Nizam, Shankar Dada collected 3 crores & 26 Lakhs share in the first week. This is an alltime record.
Second week collections are going pretty strong too. The estimation is that the share would reach 5 crores by second
week itself. In Ceded, Shankardada collected more than 75 Lakhs share. In Krishna, the share is 67 Lakhs for 9 days.
Utharandra collection recorded 80 lakhs share in the first week.

Kota wont agree with Krishnavamsi
In a recent interview to Eenadu daily, senior actor Kota Srinivasa Rao criticized the comments made by Krishnavamsi during
an opening function. Recently, Krishnavamsi is invited to inaugurate Viswamithra Casting Agency. The agency is aimed at
supporting aspiring actors. Talking on that occassion, Krishnavamsi commended the idea of Gogineni Prasad, who established this
agency, saying that this is such a good idea and will come as a relief in the recents times when Telugu Film Industry is running
short of talent.
Responding to a question, Kota commented that the problems start when Telugu industry goes for other language actors and
discourages Telugu artists. He quoted Krishnavamsi saying Telugu industry running short of talent. He also referred to
Krishnavamsi's example for this as Prakash raj winning both villain and character artist awards for Nandi. Kota expressed his
dissatisfaction over these remarks and felt that Krishnavamsi should have avoided making that remark.

Vamsi's film titled "Konchem touch lo undu cheputhanu"
"Konchem touch lo undu cheputhanu" is the title that is announced for Vamsi's latest film. VMC Films is producing this venture.
A pressmeet was held today to announce the title.
V. Doraiswami Raju, producer of the film, Chakri (Music director), Vamsi (director), Raghu (cameraman), Sankara Manchi (story-writer),
Sivaji and Veda participated in this pressmeet. Talking on this occassion, hero Sivaji was all in praise for the director
Vamsi. He commented that after Missamma this is the film that gave him utmost satisfaction. "This film is a Vamsi brand film
with out and out comedy", commented Doraiswami Raju. Chakri composed music for this film. Audio will release very shortly.

Prabhas & Krishnamraju: film to start shortly
Prabhas birthday celebrations went on in a grand style. Few celebrities visited Prabhas to wish him on his birthday .
Prabhas and Krishnam Raju participated in a pressmeet. Krishnamraju thanked his fans for the continuous support. He also
praised Prabhas on his improvement from the previous year. Krishnamraju confirmed the film on Gopikrishna banners that will
cast both Krishnamraju and Prabhas. However, the date is not yet confirmed. But he assured that the film would start before
his birthday, which falls on 20th of January. He also commented on his dream project
Visala netralu. The film would take off in the end of 2006. Coming to Prabhas's projects, at present Krishnavamsi's Chakram
is going on. S.S.Rajamouli's film is the next to follow. This film will start in December. M.S.Raju will start a film
with Prabhas very shortly.

Telugu films should release in AP & Karnataka
It's already known that there is an issue going on about Telugu films release in Karnataka. A pressmeet was held
by K.S.Ramarao, G.Adhi Seshagiri Rao, D.Suresh Babu and C. Kalyan on 22nd of October to emphasize their stand on
the release of Telugu films in Karnataka on the same day of the release in AP. K.S.Ramarao, president of Producers council,
spoke on this occassion. Initially Karnataka Film Industry took a decision that other language films should not release
in Karnataka in the first 7 weeks of release. With the resistance that they faced from other language film industries, the
cap was brought down from 7 weeks to 3 weeks. The prints are limited to just 6. Telugu film producers council is not happy
with this decision. President emphasized the stand of the council that the films should release on the same day in
Karnataka too. "If the Karnataka film industry agrees to this, then the limit on the prints would be considered", commented
K.S.Ramarao. Shankardada MBBS is released on the same day in Karnataka. This was possible as the producers got the notice from the court.
He also added that the other producers who want to release the film in Karnataka on the same day can go to the court meanwhile.

Successmeet held for Ammai Bagundhi 100 days
Dega Arts Ammai Bagundhi starring Sivaji and Meera Jasmine celebrated 100 days on 23rd of this month.
The unit organized a met at FMCC on 24th to celebrate the success of the film. Producer Devakumar Reddy, Srilekha,
Prasad (Camera man) and others participated in this event. Producer Devakumar Reddy talked about the film. He decided
to donate 50000 Rs to Santhi Niketan school in Vijayawada instead of celebrating the 100 days function.

Shekar Kammula's Anand is doing well at the box office. A success meet was held to celebrate the same.
Raja and Kamalini Mukharjee played the lead in this film produced by Amigos creations banner in association with NFDC.
Producer Chandrasekhar Kammula praised the hardwork of Shekar Kummula for this film and branded this film as the
surprise hit of the year. "Though all the buyers complemented the film, they didnot come forward initially. Hence we
released the film on our own with just few prints. Now the prints are increased and the film is running all across the state",
added Chandrasekhar.

Vikram's YOUTH ready to release after long gap
A while ago Vikram acted in few Telugu movies. He was trying to establish himself at that time. A film was
started with him titled YOUTH. Due to the sudden death of the film's director Jitendra, the film was shelved. Now, keeping in mind
the craze of Vikram, the remaining parts are patched up and the film is ready to release. Recently, few songs
and few scenes are shot for the film. The film will release towards the end of this month. Sri Harsha and Shishya
acted as heroines in this film.

Shekar Kammula's Anand released on 15th of October. The film received good reviews from both critics and audience.
The response is so good that orders for more prints are coming in, it is heard. Initially the film released with just
6 prints in only selected centers viz. Hyderabad, Warangal, Vijayawada and Vizag. Catering to the demand 17 more prints
are released for screening in various locations across the state. It is heard that more prints would release shortly.

Audio of Vijayaniki Sidham was released on 10th of this month in Vizag at Gurajada Kalakshetram. A Varshita Movies
presentation and Sudarshan Productions film - Vijayaniki Sidham audio was released by ex-MP MVVS Murthy and cd was released by Anakapalle MP Pappala Chalapathirao. Surya music released the audio. Sai Venkat is the director of the film,
which runs on the backdrop of cricket and mafia.

Rohan and Anjali playing the lead. Ramana Gogula is roped in to compose music for this film. "The film deals with youth concept
and will become a musical hit", says the makers.

Chiru in dual role to rock again
Shankar Dada MBBS proved a blockbuter at the box office. Now his next film would be for
Geetha Arts with Srinu Vaitla handling the megaphone. Srinu Vaitla is known for bringing out mass comedy to the best extent and
the latest example is Venky. So Chiru fans can set themselves up for another entertainer. Well! It gets better! Chiru is
playing dual role as father and son. It is heard that the story is on the lines of a naughty father who has no bounds and the son
always has a close eye on his father to control him. In simple terms, son controlling "allari thandri". Tabu and Diya Mirza are roped in
to play the heroines. This is the first film for Tabu with Chiranjeevi and for Diya Mirza, this is the first Telugu film.
Devisri Prasad will compose the music and Bhupathi Raja provided the story. The film might start in the last week of
October or first week of November.

NTR, B.Gopal film regular shooting from 17th Nov
Changala Venkata Rao is producing a film with NTR, Amisha Patel and Ankitha in the lead. The film will start regular shooting from
17th of November. Few vital scenes will be filmed on NTR and Ankitha in that schedule. Starting from 1st of Decemeber, the unit
will shoot in Araku for a continuous 1 month schedule. The unit will be in Hyderabad in january and February. In March,
the schedule is set in Bangalore and finally the unit will travel to overseas in April for few songs. The plans at this point
are to release the film towards the end of April. It is also heard that there is a third herione in the film, who is yet to be
selected. Also, a noted heroine is roped in for a special song. Mani Sharma composes music for this film. Ravishankar provided
the story and B.Gopal is the director.

Vidhyardhi: Audio released
Supergood Films' Vidhyarthi audio is released today at Ramanaidu studios. Venkatesh and Srikanth attended the function as
chief guests. Venkatesh released the cassette. Sneha, Sangitha, Arti Agarwal, Aditi Agarwal, Sudhakar and others participated in this event.
Manisharma composed music for this film. R.B.Chowdary commended the work of Manisharma for this film and anticipated that
the Telugu audience would receive Ramesh very well. He also appreciated the work of director Bala and expected the film
to be a winner at box office.
Talking on this occassion Venkatesh commented on his association with Supergood films. Supergood films produced films like
Raja, Srinu with Venkatesh. Srikanth, Sneha, Arti and others wished Ramesh the best of luck. Hero of the film Ramesh used
the film as a metaphor. He mentioned that he is a "Vidhyardhi" at this point. He finished writing his exam and it is up to the
judges (audience) to evaluate him.Towards the end of the show, Ramesh and the dance unit members of Vidhyardhi danced for a song on the stage.
Ramesh and Aditi Agarwal play the lead in the film. Bala, who worked with Shankar, is the director. Manisharma composed music.
The film will release in November.

Vikram in Pressmeet @ Hyderabad
Vikram bagged the national award for Pitamaghan film, which was later dubbed into Telugu as Sivaputrudu. He was in Hyderabad
on 16th October and a special pressmeet was organized. At present Vikram is working on Aparichithudu (Tamil Aniyan). This
is a bi-lingual film which is shaping up under the direction of Shankar. He expressed his desire to work for atleast one straight Telugu
film every year. He is happy about his hardwork being paid off. Vikram struggled for about 10 years in the film industry before he could
achieve the success. He worked in Telugu, Tamil and Malayalam films.

Valayam audio released
Audio of Valayam was released today at Prasanth Kureer in Hyderabad. Praveen is producing this film on Success Media Makers banner in the
direction of Rajendra Reddy. S.V.Krishna Reddy released the first cassette and gave the first copy to Atchi Reddy.
M.S.Sudhakar composed music for the film. Madhura Entertainments enter the world of music with this film. M.S.Sudhakar composed

• Brahmaji and Mohita starrer Thumbs up is in the stages of re-recording. A song will be in progress
from 16th October. Audio will release in the end of October and the film in November.
• Marri Chettu, Adi C/O ABN College and Mr & Mrs. Sailaja Krishna Murthy are the films slated to release on 22nd of October.
• Vijayakanth starrer Gajendra will be dubbed into Telugu by Sri Mahalaxmi Movies. Laya and Asha Saini acted as heriones

• Hindi Film Tauba Tauba will be dubbed into Telugu as "Abbabba". Dilip Tandon, who dubbed Muder and Girls into Telugu,
is dubbing this film. The film is directed by T.L.V.Prasad. Film will release in the third week of October. Payal Rastogi,

Mohan babu is MAA president
Mohanbabu started his role as the president of MAA starting today. His election as the president was announced on
9th of October. Gummadi Venkateswara Rao, who organized this election, announced the election of Mohanbabu.
Sivakrishna (VP), Nagababu, Mallikarjuna Rao (Deputy), Sivaji Raja (Chairman), Jayasudha (organizer), Ali, Dasari Arun Kumar,
Giribabu, Jagapthi Babu, Jeevitha, Kota Srinivasa Rao, Mahesh Babu, Naresh, Taraka Ratna, Srihari, Sumanth, Tarun,
Venu are among the members of this MAA team. The tenure is two years for this committe.
Mohanbabu attended a pressmeet that was held to celebrate the same. Talking to the media, Mohanbabu commented that he was elected
to Rajyasabha as MP by late NTR. Now it was Dasari Naryanarao, Adiseshagiri Rao and Nagarjuna, who prompted him to be the
president of MAA. Mohanbabu added that though he was skeptical in tbe beginning, he gave his nomination along with his team.
He is very happy that he is elected unanimously. He vowed that he will try to resolve all the issues and take them to the
discussions. "I will respect the MAA as I respect my mother. I wont be a dictator but a friend to all", said Mohanbabu.

Apparao DS will be another Ladies Tailor: Rajendra Prasad
Audio of Rajendra Prasad, Malavika, Preethi Jingania starrer Apparao Driving School was released on 9th of October at
Ramanaidu studios. Anji Srinu directed this venture. Atluri Ramarao released the first cassette and gave the copy to
MLK Chowdary, the producer of the film. Talking on this occassion, Anji Srinu expressed his happiness in directing an allrounder
actor Natakiriti Rajendra Prasad. "Rajendra Prasad is projected in a new style in this film", added Anji Srinu. Hero Rajendra Prasad
is all in praise for Anji Srinu. He commented that he did a good film after a gap. "Anji Srinu has got good taste.
He knows what he is doing. I am very happy working on this film. This will be another Ladies Tailor for me", commented Rajendra Prasad.

Raviteja, Boyapati Srinu's film launched
Sri Venkateswara Creations film with Raviteja in the lead and Boyapati Srinu as the director was launched on 9th October.
Raju, of Dil and Arya fame, is the producer. The pooja event took place in the office of Sri Venkateswara Creations.
Devisri Prasad will compose music for this film. Boyapati Srinu narrated the story first to Allu Aravind. Allu Aravind
felt that Raju is the best producer for this film. Also, Raviteja was picked by V.V.Vinayak, after he gave an ear to the story
from Boyapati Srinu. Raviteja accepted to do this film right away.

Audio of Sravanthi films' Yuvasena was released on 9th of October at Annapoorna Studios. Yuvasena is the remake of Malayalam hit film
4 the peple. Jessi Gift, who composed music to the original version, composed music for this film.
Sohan music released the audio into the market. S.V.Krishna Reddy released the cassette. Sirivenella SitaRama Sastry, who
provided lyrics, spoke on this occassion and said that the music came out very good and lyrics were given
utmost importance. He also remembered the professional relationship that he shares with producer Sravathi Ravikishore, which
started from the time of Ladies Tailor. Sirivennela added , "It has become a regular thing for Ravikishore to produce superhit
films with good entertainment values. Sravanthi Banner has got good name for the production values". He expected the film
to be a big success. D.Suresh Babu, Shriya, Koti, Arjuna Raju, Syam Prasad Reddy, Atchi Reddy and others attended the event.
Jayaraj directed this venture. Talking to the audience, Jayaraj said that this is the best audio function yet.

Anand - Manchi coffee lanti cinema, is all set to release on 15th. Audio of the film which released earlier
is a big success. Premier show for this film will run at Multiplex Theater on 14th of this month at Prasad multiplex.

Audio of Sakhiya was released on 3rd October at Silpakala Vedhika. Speciality of the function
is that 9 heroines, who acted with Tarun until now viz. Arti Agarwal, Sriya, Richa, Trisha, Anitha,
Kiran Rathod, Aditi Agarwal, Chandana and Sridevi, attended the function. A special photo session was

Raa sentiment has always worked with Jayanth and he predicted the Sakhiya Naatho Raa will be a big hit too.

Sri Venkateswara Productions pvt. ltd production with Allu Arjun in the lead and V.V.Vinayak handling the direction was officially launched today
(3rd October). This event took place at Annapoorna Studios at 9:00 AM. Dasari Narayanarao gave the clap and K.Raghavendra Rao directed the
first shot. Megastar Chiranjeevi switched on the camera.
Chota K. Naidu will handle the camera and Devisri will compose the music for this film which comes under the presentation of Allu Aravind and the
production of Mallidi Satyanarayana Reddy. Talking to the media during the pressmeet, Allu Aravind commented that Allu Arjun, V.V.Vinayak,
Chota K. Naidu and Devisri Prasad is a very crazy combination. He is also very confident of the strong script and good story that came out.
"Satyanarayana Reddy is with lot of zeal to make this a silver jubilee film.", commeneted Allu Aravind.
Commenting about the project, V.V.Vinayak said that he is feeling a bit tensed that he is given the responsibility to direct Allu Arjun, who
has 2 consecutive hits in his kitty. However, he is happy about the entire team, which he is most comfortable with. "A director is considered captain for a film.
For this film it is Allu Aravind, who is the captain", added V.V.Vinayak. Unlike Vinayak's earlier movies, this film will have family backdrop and some comedy.
Allu Arjun plays a college student in this film. Allu Arjun was in praise for V.V.Vinayak. "I am a favor of V.V.Vinayak from the film Dil.
After watching the film Tagore, I always wanted to do a film with Vinayak. Satyanarayana Reddy is like our family member. He always said that
he will make a film with me. Now he came up with such a good combination for me and I am very happy.", said Allu Arjun.
When asked about Badrinath film that is to be directed by Chinnikrishna, Allu Arjun responded saying one schedule for the film is completed and
the next schedule will start in November. However, his third film to release would be the V.V.Vinayak's film.

Sravanthi films remake titled "Yuva Sena"
Sravanthi Films is remaking the Malayalam superhit film 4the people into Telugu. It is a known thing. The film
is almost completed except for 3 songs. Sravanthi Ravikishore announced that the film is titled as Yuva Sena.
Unit will go to Kerala, starting today, for about a week to film 3 songs on Bharat and Gopika.
This will complete the production. Ravikishore is planning to release the film in the second week of November.

"Chanti.. The hero" title confirmed
As reported by TotalTollywood earlier, "Chanti.. The hero" title is in consideration for Vijayabala productions
starring Raviteja and Charmi. The title is confirmed today in a pressmeet. At present, the unit is shooting in
Padmalaya studios in a set erected for a song. K.C.Sekhar Babu, who is presenting the film, announced the title of the film.
Director Sobhan commented that he worked on the first film with Raviteja in which his character is named Chanti.
The hero was the tag line attached to the film since Chanti is a quite common nick name.

Sankarabharanam 25th anniv celebrations on 7th
Audio of Swarbhishekam will release on 7th of October at Vijayawada in Ghantasala Kala Vedhika. K.Viswanath directed

The function will also host the 25th Anniversary celebrations of the film Sankarabharanam. Songs competetion will

Nandi Awards were announced today for the year 2003. Missamma, Okkadu and Amma Nanna O Tamil Ammayi are adjudged as
the Gold, Silver and Bronze Nandi recipients. Neeku Nenu Naku Nuvvu is awarded the best family entertainer award.
It is a sweep by Okkadu bagging more than 6 awards which included Silver Nandi and awards in the categories of
director, music, editor, cinematography, choreography and stunts. Mahesh Babu got the best actor award for Nijam. ANOTA fetched Puri
Jagannath a bronze Nandi and also an award in the category of dialogues. Bhommika bags the award as best actress for Misamma.
Missamma also bags Golden Nandi and screnplay awards for Neelakanta. Special jury awards were given to the films
Vasantham and Tiger Harischandra Prasad.

Raviteja as Chanti??
It is reliably learnt that Vijayabala Productions starring Raviteja and Charmi might be titled as "Chanti..The Hero".
The title is under consideration. Krishna Kishore, son of K.C.Sekhar Babu, is producing this film in the direction of
Sobhan. The makers are planning to release the film on October 22nd for Vijaya Dasami season. "Chanti" is a lucky mascot for Raviteja.

NTR is working on Giri's production Alludu at the moment. As soon as this production is completed, Chengala Venkatarao's film in the direction of B.Gopal will go to floors. The film will be wrapped up in one single and continuous schedule. Also, Paedhodu will go to floors. Paedhodu will be produced by K.L.Narayana and Gopal Reddy under
Durga Arts banner. Lawrence will direct this film. Rajamouli's own production is also queued up. Rajamouli will direct
the film too. Two more pictures are in discussions. The details are yet to come out.

Vijayendra Varma function planned in a novel style
The plans are in place to organize the audio function of Vijayendra Varma in a grand style. All the present generation heroes from Nandamuri family viz. NTR, Taraka Ratna, Kalyan Ram, Chaitanya Krishna along with future star Balakrishna's son Mokshyagna will attend the function as chief guests. Audio function will take place on 7th of October at Silparamam.
Since this is a big gathering of Nandamuri family, it is estimated that lakhs of fans would flow into the city. Audio cassette will contain 6 numbers.
Following the function on October 7th, the unit will travel to Switzerland on October 8th. 2 songs are planned in this
10 day schedule. One song each on Balakrishna, Laya and Balakrishna, Ankitha. This completes the production part.

Shriya helps 4 for hearth Surgery
Actress Shriya proved that she is beautiful not just with looks but also with heart. Responding to the ads coming out
in the magazines for the "Save A Child's Heart" project at Apollo, Shriya is helping 4 kids financially in the treatment and surgery involved. 10 months old Jyothsna, Raviteja (6), Koteswara Ral (11) and Sai (4) are the 4 kids,
who are being helped by Shriya. There are around 500 kids, who are getting treatment under this project and Shriya gave a call to all her co-artists and technicians to come forward in helping these kids. Hats and hearts off to you Shriya.

YVS Chowdary's Devadas started
YVS Chowdari's home production and directoral venture started in a grand scale. His lavish style was evidently reflected in
the way the invitations were made. The film will start regular shooting from October 1st and will continue through
January 15, 2005. The film will be shot in various locations in India and in America. Commenting on the film, YVS stated
that this movie bears no resemblance to the yesteryear Devdas. The only coincidence is that the first clap is given

Mahesh and Gunasekhar attended the court in Warangal regarding the case that was filed against them
by the Police of Warangal in the incident of anti-piracy raid conducted on the day of Arjun success

From sources, it is heard that Actress Malavika left the shooting of Apparao driving school and flew to Chennai.
She didnot feel comfortable on the sets, says sources. Anji Srinu is directing this film with Rajendra Prasad,
Malavika, Preeti Zingania in the lead. A song that comes for the first night scene is in picturization.
Malavika is frustrated with the incidents that happened on the sets during the filming of the song and left

Warangal police issue arrest warrant for Mahesh
An arrest warrant was issued on Mahesh Babu by the Warangal police. Warangal police filed cases of Kidnap and manhandling
against Mahesh Babu. Success rally of Arjun was conducted in Warangal today.
According to the sources, following the event, Mahesh Babu and fans
conducted raids on few CD stores, which are suspected to be distributing Arjun pirated CDs. Some sources say
that Mahesh and Gunasekhar confiscated a bunch of the pirated CDs. According to the case filed by the police
of Warangal, Mahesh along with the fans have beaten up one of the store owners. Investigation is still
in progress. A meeting was already organized by key people in the industry regarding the incident.
Though it is learnt that industry is in support of Mahesh, more details
are awaited on their response.
According to other sources of media:
Mahesh and Gunasekhar, along with fans of Mahesh, conducted raid on two stores in Warangal city. Kidnap case
was filed against Mahesh because there were allegations that he took along with him one of the owners of
the CD store. Police filed case on 10 including Mahesh, Gunasekhar and Sandya Film Distributors.
It is heard that the stores are Checkin CD store and Sony CD point. According to some sources, the fans
ransacked the stores along with beating up the involved. More details are awaited. Investigation is
in progress on this issue.

Arya 100 days function in grand way
100 days function of Arya was celebrated on 8th of September at Lalitha Kala thoranam. Arya celebrated 100 days in
56 centers. This is Allu Arjun's second film. His first film Gangotri also celebrated 100 days in more than 50 centers.
The area was completely filled with Megafans. Megastar Chiranjeevi and Pawan Kalyan came in as chief guests. To control
the crowds, police occassionally whipped out the Latis.
Sumanth and Gopichand also attended the function and complemented Allu Arjun. Talking on this occassion, Megastar commented
that he felt jealous with the songs in Arya, especially that of A ante Amalapuram. However, he is completely satisfied
and proud of Shankar Dada MBBS songs. He praised Allu Arjun as stylish guy. Adding to the already jubilated and excited fans,
Chiru commented that he would meet them again in the 100 days function of Gudumba Shankar.

PB Arts film with Balakrishna in the lead is launched today. MRV Prasad is the producer of the film.
Jayanth is the director.
Opening function of the film was conducted at Annapoorna Studios. ANR gave the clap, Nandamuri Ramakrishna switched on the camera and
K.Raghavendra Rao directed the first shot. Another attraction to the function is NTR, who attened as a guest.
M.S.Reddy, Swarna Subbarao, Paruchuri, Ramanaidu and many other bigwigs attended and wished the unit a grand
success.
Technical crew comprises of ManiSharma for music, Ajay Vincent for Camera, Paruchrui for dalogues.
Yelamanchili Sridhar is providing the story. He is a lecturer and this is his first film. The story is based
on a true historical event that will talk about the strength, audacity and courage in Telugu blood.
The story, also, softly depicts a father and son relation.
As the first shot, Balakrishna delivered the dialogue - "Prapancham lo andhariki okkade devuduntaadu. Kaane
naaku iddaru vunnaru. Vallu devudu, maa nannagaru". On this event, Balakrishna handed over 2 Lakh Rs to the
widow of his security gaurd.

More Kannada films to be dubbed
Is it a dubbing mela? Lately, producers of Kannada films are taking to dubbing their hit films into
Telugu. In this month, fist full of producers have announced their productions to be dubbed into Telugu.
Monalisa (starring Sada), Vayasu Pilichindhi (Babaro Rasika in Kannada starring Ramya Krishna) are
already fast completing the dubbing. Two more films are added to the list that will be released very soon.
One is Malasri starrer "Durgi". This is being dubbed into Telugu as Rakshasi. Ramu is the producer.
Saikumar's brother Ravishankar directed this film in Kannada. The film is set to release in September.
Raghuvaran, Kalabhavan Mani, Ashish Vidyarthi played other roles in the film. Music is composed by Hamsalekha.
Similarly, Santosh productions is dubbing another hit film "Monda". Saikumar is the lead in the film.
Prasanthi, Jayasudha played other key roles in this film in which Saikumar acted as a forensic officer.
Music is composed by Prayog and Venkatesh handled the story, screenplay and direction departments.
Tentatively, all the movies are set to release in Sepetember.

NBK's security gaurd killed!
Balakrishna name popped up again in the media radars with the murder of a security gaurd in Balakrishna's
house. On the night of Tuesday burglars robbed some 75000 cash and killed the gaurd, says the police.
Security gaurd is identified as Loknath Sahil from Orissa. The incident took place at around 1:30 AM (early hours
of wednesday), according to police estimations. Balakrishna's wife Vasundhara noticed the burglars around
the midnight. The police were informed about the whole episode at 3:00 AM. Police Commissioner R.P.Singh
commented that security gaurd tried to resist the burglars and they hit him with a granite stone on the head.
There are other stories which are coming along side that the burglars know the whereabouts in the house. So
it could be someone with in the circle. According to the sources, the dog is chained, which usually
is not the case at NBK's house during the nights. And also the sources say that Vasundhara didnot
mention anything about the dogs barking in her complaint. And also the police dogs which came to sniff
on the thieves, roamed here and there in the house and stopped at the swimming pool.
No one is taken into custody as of now. Police are investigating the case.

APSFTV and TDC Ltd are partnering in the production of a film titled Chinuku. The film was launched
on 18th August and registered for Satyasai Creations. master Deepak, master Jilani and baby Sri Divya
play the main characters in the film. Story, screenplay and direction are handled by Nirdesh. Nirdesh
has previous experience with camera for satellite channel. The story revolves around fishermen. Ramesh Erra

Singer Jikki is no more!!
The melody world has lost a star. Singer Jikki passed away on 16th of August. She breathed her last in Chennai.
Jikki was detected with Cancer 3 years ago. Jikki is
69 years old and is survived by 4 daughters and 2 sons.
Jikki's given name is G.Krishnaveni and is from Chitoor district. She got recognition as singer for her playback numbers
in many films including Pantulamma (1943), Mangala Sootram (1946), Gollabhama (1947). She got married to noted music director
A.M.Raja. "Rajasekhara nee pai moju teeraledhuraa" from Anarkali is one of the many songs that will stay in the hearts of Telugu audience forever.
Jikki gave her voice for more than 10000 songs in various languages including Telugu, Malayalam, Tamil, Hindi and Simhalam.
Janavuley song from Aditya 369 could be rendered that way only by Jikki. Her recent song was from the film Murari - "Alanati ramachandrudi".
May her soul rest in peace.

grand fathers of the hero laid a rule that it is only for ladies". Why is the rule only for ladies? This
forms the storyline and the consequences become the plot. Comedy and music will be the biggest highlights

Suresh productions to remake Ramudu Bhimudu!
Star Producer D.Ramanaidu is planning to produce some big ventures. One of them will be with Megastar Chiranjeevi,
says sources. In the past, Suresh productions made a film with Chiranjeevi - Sangarshana. This will
be the second film in the combination. Story discussions are in the finalization state, says sources.
Also, the producer is planning a film with Victory Venkatesh that will be launched soon. Venkatesh is
presently shooting for the film Subash Chandrabose. Also, it is heard that the prestigious production
house is planning on remaking their first film. Ramudu Bhimudu starring Legendary actor NTR is their first
film. Now the production house is planning to remake the film with youth star NTR. Other films in
pipeline from this banner are a film with Sumanth to be directed by Dasarath, a film with total new faces,
and a Hindi film titled Hamara Beti. The production banner is also planning on producing a film in English.

Sudhala Ashokteja bags National award for Tagore
"Nenu Saitam" song from Tagore, inspired from Srisri's original, has not only touched the hearts of Telugu audience but also the
panel of members, lead by Basu Chatterjee, judging the 51st national awards . Sudhala Ashokteja bags the national award for penning this song.

Leading actor of Tamil Industry, "Chiyan" Vikram rendered his voice for a song in a Telugu film. Getting into the story -
A while ago Vikram had a blockbuster hit film titled DHIL. The film was remade into Telugu as Sriram with Udaykiran in the lead.
Now, Vudaya Bhaskara Reddy, Kothuru Anjaneyulu are dubbing this film into Telugu with the title "VIKRAM". They are releasing
the film under Anajli productions banner. Dhil songs were a rage in Tamil. Vidyasagar composed music for that film. Vikram, it is heard,
sang the title song of the film - Vegam Vegam - penned by Vennelakanti. Laila is the heroine in the film.

Anaconda: Telugu version releases on 27th
Anaconda, which released in 1997 starrting Jennifer Lopez, sent shivers at the boxoffice not just in Hollywood but
the whole world. Anaconda 2: The hunt for Blood Orchid is all set to release on 27th of August. Interesting thing here is that
the movie is hitting the theaters world-wide on 27th of August. The telugu version of the film will release on the
same day itself. Noted distributors N.V.Prasad, Paras Jain are releasing the film in Telugu. It is estimated that the film
is releasing with around 10000 prints.

MLK Chowdary launched a production on Keerthi creations banner with Sumanth in the lead. The film is
titled 51. Sonali is picked as the heroine. Chakri is roped in to compose the music.

11th of August at Annapoorna Studios. V.V.Vinayak gave the clap and ANR switched on the camera. Puri Jagannath

Santosham Magazine completed 2nd year of run. Celebrating this occassion, a grand event was organized at Gachibowli stadium on 4th of August.
CMR co-sponsored the event, which is titled CMR-Santosham Awards. The function started off with a tribute to veteran comedian Allu Ramalingayya.

It is learnt that Jagapathi Babu will act in the lead role for a film to be produced by Nagarjuna. Jagapathi Babu has two consecutive
hits - Kushi Kushi Ga and Pedababu - in his kitty. At present, it is heard that, Jagapathi
Babu is casted in three films of which one is to be produced by Nagarjuna. Puri Jagannath will direct this film. This film will start
