37 member Tollywood team to dubai9 May 2008
Senior artiste and director AVS is leading a 37-member Tollywood team to Dubai for conducting Tollywood Tamasha Show on May 27th. The proposed programme will be held under the aegis of multi-crore railway construction company Sagar Thermit Corporation, which is operating on a Rs. 400 crore railway project in United Arab Emirates. To celebrate the company's 25 years completion, the event is being organized. Those who are taking part in the show include ace comedians Ali, Jayaprakash Reddy, Apoorva, Rajitha, Nikitha, Navneet Kaur, Tirupati Prakash, Mimicry Srinivas and others. The show is officially titled Sagar Tollywood Tamasha.
K. Udayanand Reddy, Chairman and Managing director of Sagar Thermite expressed his happiness at organizing the show in Dubai. "Our firm is the second largest one in India working on the railways. At present, we are executing a Rs. 400 crore railway project in UAE with over two thousand workers employed there from India. It will give me immense satisfaction to provide entertainment to the workers. After this Dubai program, we hope to organize similar event in Hyderabad with elite artistes from Telugu film industry." AVS said that the gesture of Reddy of Sagar Thermite deserves high appreciation. He felt happy to say that this kind of programme would bring them even closer to the Telugu community in Dubai.
