A film by Aravind is a suspense thriller well done by director Sekhar Suri. Usually for suspense thrillers, there is plot rather than story. A gripping screenplay with an interestingly done plot and good performances are plus
points for the film. Rajeev Kanakala proved his mettle as an actor yet again.

The entire film is based on three characters mainly, with some additional character hopping in and out.
Rajeev Kanakala, Rishi, Mona Chopra played those three roles. Ghazal Srinivas also played a key role in the film.
Aravind (Rajeev Kanakala), Rishi (Rishi) are two friends and movie freaks. Aravind wants to be a director and Rishi an actor. They get a break and both of them become stars overnight. After making couple of continuous blockbusters, Aravind wants to direct a film for a story not penned by him. Until then he directs his own stories. So he calls out for stories from new story writers. In evaluating those story lines, he zeroes on one particular script. However, that script is readable for only 25 scenes. Ink spill on the rest of the script will make it quite unreadable.

Impressed with the storyline, Aravind wants to figure the rest out. To discuss the script, he takes

Rishi along with him to a guest house in the forest. On the way, they give ride to Nirupama (Mona Chopra). She tags along with them to the guest house too. Aravind slowly realizes that the recent happenings are going on as written in the script. In other words, the script that he is reading is turning true. So he calls up on the script writer Satyam (Ghazal Srinivas) to get details on the rest of the script. On knowing the entire script, Aravind is scared.

And now he is specially scared of Nirupama. And he thinks she is a psycho killer. What made him think so? And what is the rest of the plot that Satyam told Aravind? What happened to A film by Aravind?
To know the answers to these questions, watch the film on the silver screen.

Rajeev Kankala turned in a fine performance and proved that he can gel into any role. Playing the title role of Aravind, Rajeev had huge responsibility for on-screen narration and he did his part very well. A mixture of emotions like scared for his friend's life, jealous about his friend and Nirupama, and star status monging director, it is a good opportunity for Rajeev Kanakala. Rishi is good and looked like a hero. Well he played the hero of Aravind's films. He is apt for that role. Mona Chopra turned in a good performance. Especially her performance in the second half needs a special mention.

In other roles, Ghazal Srinivas played a key role as a writer and did a good job.

Technically, the film is high in standards. Cinematography by Ramesh Krishna is excellent. The mood, camera angles
and color shades are apt for such thrilling narration. Music is usually life for such films and Vijay Koorakula
is applaudable for providing such background score. Editing by Tirupati Reddy is content.

Sekhar Suri came up with a nice plot, gripping screenplay and good direction. He succeeds keeping the audience in suspense for the entire film span. Though there are few things that could have been explained like - why the script is turning true? Is it by coincidence or well planned? There are a couple of minor things like these (any more questions here will reveal the plot) could have been explained better. Nevertheless, due credit should be given to the director for such a thriller. Leave those minor gaps alone.

Sekhar impresses with his shot takings. There are some scenes in the film that will send shivers down the spine. The plot is well supported by the suspense and at times by scary moments. First half revolves in the character establishment of Aravind and Rishi. The narration is in a way
that the audience anticipate something to be happening in the next scene. With such tempo generated the film takes a break for the second half. Second half continues the same tempo untieing the knots related to the plot.

This is a recommended watch for those who are interested in variety kind of films with gripping suspense and lots of thrilling moments.
